Wanted to paint the Rag Top on my Cutlas. It's faded but the material is still in great shape. Don't want to buy a new one, just want to paint it white. What kind of paint should I use? Any special procedures. Want to do it right the first time. Its a leather/vinil top. What paint should I use in my application(white)?

I would definitely recommend that you just pay somebody to just rerap it in white. I don't believe that the paints will adhere permanently. I think that it will fade or eventually peel off. If you do decide to use a paint, make sure and use primer first. There might be some special paint to penetrate the vinyl or leather.
