Its a sad thing. MY dad told me about the good old days of racing on the street, but for every ACCIDENT someone wants "someone" to pay. People make their own choices, but other people want to make everything "safe" Im cool livin to 45-50. Just let me live my own life how I chose.

I havent been out there in almost 3 months. So tonight I decide to roll trough and HOLY SHITOE!!!! Heli was out circling ahead, 30 or more cop cars on Lawrence and on El Camino, Los Gatos, San Jose, Santa Clara, Campbell, CHP and Sherrifs were all out there. I saw at MINIMUM 15 cars pulled over randomly in a 2 mile stretch. Every driveway to the arking lot was blocked with cop cars.

Like I said havent been out there in 3 months, was it getting that bad to where this was warranted?????

Well I drove the Supra tonight to Bux and I got pulled over while I was on El Camino. I came out with full slicks and skinnies and was ready to roll some heads as I had a few races lined up with some old school domestics and bikes. Cops told me to pop the hood immediately. I sat there for a while as they asked me all kinds of questions about what was what. They even pointed to my oil feed line and gave me the riot act about nitrous. I told them its an oil feed line and they thought I was BSing them. I played it pretty cool with the cops and told them that I thought it was a place to go like a mini car show. Cops actually started being cool after a while and we BS'd about drag racing. They had to give me a ticket for something so they gave me a no front license plate ticket. Funny thing is that I had the front plate on!!! But that's cool I'll take that ticket instead of what I really could have been hammered with. Cop told me its just a $10 fix it ticket.

Helicopters overhead, all exits blocked off by cops, cops on both Lawrence and El Camino pulling everyone over, sherrifs, CHP, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale PD, every kind of law enforcement was out there tonight. I saw several stangs pulled over and also imports too. It really didn't matter who you were tonight they were pulling everyone over! They even pulled over a guy I was supposed to race in his old school domestic.

BUT.........................I saw F8lsnke Willie from this site in his red mustang pulled over and hood popped right across from Chevron!! Hey Willie what did they get you for? I was gonna go over to you and see what's up but after I got pulled over I just left instead of hanging around. As I was leaving a cop handed me this piece of paper.

ya shit was hella crazy!! too bad we cant chill there anymore. got raided nasty real quick. they just randomly pulled me over, as i pulled out from an exit, but waste of time for them cuz they didnt have shit on me son! lucky for me the cop was jockin my car and let me go. just told to me put the front plate on..... ya right!

i also went for the first time in about 6 months i seen the chopper from the freeway but i kept going thinking there was something else going on...as soon as i went over the bridge i seen a shit load of cops pulling anyone over....i made a u turn and went back to the freeway....dat sux though from now on i bet its going to be like dat all the time...

They must have pulled you over after hearing the revs you were throwing last week in the parking lot. I know I was like DAMN is that an E cam or an F!!!! Shit its maybe a triple ZZZ cam!!!

Dana the front license plate ticket is $10, not $20. I should know I just got one last month in Santa Clara

did you have straight draq slicks or DOT legal slicks? They have told a few of my friends to leave there cars on the side of road with there drag slicks and car would be towed if it was seen on the street. So we changed them out were they sat. this was in redding of course not were you guy's are at.

Crazy. Man, I miss the old days. I hate hearing about these types of things. It seems excessive, but it deffinately sends a message, and that's not really a bad thing. The days of rolling around in full race trim are deffinately over. Now we just have to tone it down a little. There are still places to have fun, but they aren't so easy to find in that area.

Dave50, where in Lincoln are you? I don't see too many Stangs(especially foxbodies) in this area. I'm usually riding around in my BAB '98 Cobra, but my blue fox comes out every now and then.

i was there last night, saw the cops pullin people over but they had all the exits blocked off before i even got in my car. they got one of my boys for loud exhaust, but couldn't pop open his hood. anyone from here rollin out to the norcalsvt cruise this sunday?

I have no clue where you guys are talking about but you do have to remember that if it is private property then you have no right to be on it and if people are doing stupid things then yes the police have the right to be there and enforce the law. As for heli and loads of officers it sounds like they were after a peticular group of people not everyone that was there but a peticular group. You also have to remember that there my have been some undercover cops with you guys before and have been setting this whole thing up from the begging. If people are getting stupid out at a hang out spot then it is obviously time to move the spot. Police catch on very quick when people start doing stupid things guys.

Before i say anything let me just get it out that i am not a cop-basher or anything like that and i have family in law-enforcement, but that night seemed like a total waste of police work, they had two helicopters and what seemed like many different agencies out there at once, i mean if people were actually racing its a different story but that spot was more of a hang out spot and it seems like there are less and less spots for us to meet up, i mean with all the money spent that night paying all the officers and what not wouldn't it be a better idea to build a closer track to us? I for one, and a lot of my friends would keep it off the streets if only we had a place to go that is less then 30 mins away.

But that doesn't stop a cop that doesn't know shit about cars. they'll ref you cuz they have issues with you having a nicer car than them.
