Can you explain to me why it is universal health care does not work? Your comment about "socialized medicine" is ignorant without facts. Health care in America as it is now is broke. We are the only industrialized country in the world that doesn't provide access for everyone to health care. 50 million Americans go with out access to doctors. As HMO's and Pharmaceuticals get wealthier, we pay for people to visit the E.R. for a minor cough, when it could have been avoided altogether with preventive medicine. We give tax cuts to the upper class, and squeeze out the middle class. We have budget deficits, but instead of raising taxes we bond our way into the future leaving our future at stake. We are in a war that is unpopular, has taken 4,000 American lives, has not made America one bit safer, and now we cannot pull out. Oh, but wait the democrats fucked it up?
