I need to get a helmet for the track and I don't want to order one on the internet.
Anyone know of a good place in the Sacramento area to get one?

I would not recommend a motorycle (M rated) helmet for use in cars. Go for an "SA2005" rated helmet which will protect you better in an extreme impact (ie 3500lb cars) and also has fire protection which a motorcycle helmet does not.
