As the title states i am looking for a reputable shop to install rear end gears and a traction lock. I have heard some good things about S&H 4 wheel drive in the arden area, but i am looking at my other options. I would like to stay in the Sacramento area as it is much easier to get a ride to the shop and so fourth. Thanks alot everyone.

haha. I always see their comercial on SpeedTV. I always wondered about them but sometimes those big shops like that don't turn out as good of work as the smaller ones. Muffler Tech comes to mind. If anyone has any info on Jaw Gear and Axle then let me know, Thanks again everyone.

Jawsgear! Jeff is a cool ass dude and he will treat you right. He does everything from stock to wild ass full rear end race builds. I have personally been there several times and seen his work. Top notch!

I'm in Fairfield if you're interested. Done a few setups here on the board...

No... Read again.
Fairfield is a little far JohnB. I appreciate the offer however. I would like to stay in the sacramento area just for the sake of it being convenient. Just incase something goes wrong the shop will be in the area, and also it is easier to get a ride from the shop as well. Thank you everyone for the advice. I'll probably end up going to Jaw Gear and Axle.

If your not going to go to John, I would highly suggest River City Differentials out in Rancho Cordova. Sean at River City has been building rearends for us for years.

does anyone know if any of these shops in Sacramento will press and replace wheel studs on a rear axle? A pair of my studs are so chewed up that I can't get any lugnuts started on them anymore.
