Hey, im new to CaliforniaFords. I have a 96 mustang gt and im 18. I live in Nebraska and go to college here but my family is moving to San Jose this summer which means i will be back and forth from Nebraska and California. I figured i would join a site that i would fit in to and get to know a little about CA and some of the people there.

How are prices on mustangs in California anyway? Im looking for a PI GT, Cobra, or a mach and everything here is expensive. Anything around the San Jose area worth buying?

What's up and welcome! Stangs here are cheaper,but you gotta look around for something not beat up! Good luck allot peeps heres know a thing or two but'dem stangs.

122K on the body but 12K on a fully forged motor built by Huston Performance. It has H beam rods and forged JE pistons with low compression for boost. It also has roughly 40K on the trans, 2K on the clutch, 4.10 gears with mosier axles, complete Griggs GR40 suspension. I'm asking $12K.

What kind of tranny behind that motor?

Welcome to the board. Thought GTS's were were only in 94-95 & Actually, Mustangs in the SF Bay Area are more expensive, IMO. I aleays see better deals out of state, especially on corral.net

Not a GTS, still has power windows and locks. Just has an MGW shifter and a magnaflow cat-back. The name and car dont really go hand in hand. It was a plan at one time to build it into one. And Im from Grand Island, NE.
