well sorry 69 most cars come on "big wheels" from the factory! even when you go to car shows the old heads are stuffing the wheel wells of thier vintage hot rods with a nice set of chrome! ive even seen corvette rallies re-produced in 17"

The only reason roders are us9ing big wheels is because it is the new craze. At car shows judges like to see current crazes incorperated into the rods. I still say nothing beats a nice set of 15's with some et streets on them and a crap load of hp pushing them along.

There isn't anything wrong with having big rims, but IMO it all depends on the situation. If you wanna run em, get your 15s or 16s with some ET streets, but if you just wanna stunt slap the 20s on there. You're gunna get the HP to back up the flashy-ness

But yeah I would do the brake upgrade and a 5 lug swap if it were me.

Just funny how people get so MAD when they see it, like thy probably banging on the keyboard when they type.

My gf of 7 years drives a `91 lx 5.0 dark blue AOD `vert with 3.55 gears, SVO brakes, and rear disc and she makes fun of cars like the one posted in this thread with big ugly wheels and pathetic drum brakes

Save the $$ on that and just get a 5 lug conversion and some 17's or 18's. It will look good. And my Mom is mad at the fact I put 17's on her car before I sold it to her...so I don't think she digs the donk.

Well, first it is an Ok, looking notch. The 4 lug thing has gotta go. Buying big rims on 4 lugs is not smart. Too much rotating mass with too little holding it in place. Plus, I bet the stopping distance has increased alot. Go down San Leandro Blvd. doing 100, (you know you do it any way) then try to lock up the brakes and stop. See how far it takes, then swap back to you other rims, and do the same thing. I bet the smaller rims let you stop in a shorter distance. But hell who needs to stop right? Just swang it into the curb it will slow you down.
Hell and man I envy those rims what are they? Wait are those Cobra R's? Damn thems be the dopest isht since '95. So when you think people are jocking the wheels, no its them going why the hell did he waste his money on something so played out. Face it homie, if you wanna roll big thangs get something that not every other cheap ass would want.

i think members who have a high post count tend to get better comments regarding there cars...i remeber purp notch had his car on large cobras and every1 loved it(it was nice) and now every1 hates this guys...i clicked 3rdlife myspace page and his car is DAMN CLEAN
