I was on cl and found this. its a import shop, but hey a dyno is a dyno right? mabe we can have a CaFords Dyno day [Big Grin]

a few questions people have been asking me i will answer.

if i get 10 cars its 40 if not 45.

its 3 pulls with A/F

its call automotive import i believe

its in concord, date is set for DEC. 16th (sunday) and they open at 10.am

so far i got 7 cars that say they are going for sure, but its still early i may get more cars.

EDIT: LMK if you are going for sure so i right it down and keep count on how many cars are going! and i will post up the address tomarrow DEC.10th

EDIT2: OK PEOPLE THE GUY FROM THE SHOP SAID IF I CANNOT GET TEN CARS HE CANT OPEN ON SUNDAY! SUNDAY THEY ARE CLOSED BUT FOR US IT WILL BE OPEN ONLY IF I GET TEN OR MORE CARS! OK SO FAR I GOT

I drive by that Dyno Place all the time, hella imports there. I dont think the import guys will like all the Mustangs showing up but who knows. I would like to be there to see what happens. I will bring my Wife's Mustang that makes 680RHWP PLUS if I can make the time.

I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Moses. LOL. But I remember being in a blue building complex with big a parking lot in the center and shops along the back and both left and right sides. The complex is on the left hand side of Monument blvd when going east. And this shop is on the right hand side of the complex toward the back if I remember correctly. This is of course if we are talking about the same place. It wasn't 480 it was 840.

Im not familiar with it, I was just down there one day with John Paul next door at the exhaust shop that hooks up all of use locals and wondered over there while waiting with JP or Arvin, dont really remember who, and I asked the dude whats up with his dyno. I noticed hella hondas and cars like that sitting around. I was told by the exhaust shop dude that there are mostly hondas in there and they have a record of 480hp but that could have been some front wheel drive record or some shit. I dont know was just kinda curious about it.

My dyno is in Sacramento.......the race track.

I dont want to be another car putting down upwards of 600-700 horsepower and running low 12s high 11s that is why I just go to the track...ill leave that to the dyno racers.

and before you call me out my slow 13 second mustang doesnt even run...and we already talked about my acura racing your solara

Why would I call you out what makes you think I'd do that? I race at the track all the time but I do like to go to the dyno and throw down. Its kinda fun too. Hell I put down over 1000 hp and I ran 11s. So its all good!!!

Im down to do this...My car wont be puttin down much power, but i have wanted to see what i had to the wheels, & if its only $40, what the hell...I have always wanted to get my mach dynoed, but didnt want to spend like $100 to get disappointed....I think i know a few more peeps that might be down too....

Well, I went by there today, its open for business, I got it mixed up with another dyno that was also on Monument that closed down. I talked to the guy on the phone and from that conversation I dont think I would ever do business with those guys, they have a dyno that can do 1200RWHP but they only want to do 700RWHP MAX, they say they dont want to deal with anything with that much power, I was planning bringing my Wife's Mustang that might make more that with the new setup, but who knows, the Mustang do a best of 9.1 at 148MPH. I was like, are they serious, they dont like to dyno something that is making some real power! Then next thing they said they wouldnt let me behind the wheel during the dyno pulls, they said I can sit in the passenger seat, I was like FUCK THAT, too much money in that car to let someone else behind the wheel. I dont know how you guys feel about letting someone else besides yourself behind the wheel of your pride and joy doing full throttle pulls.

Well looks like I'm out. The only person besides me that gets behind the wheel and does WOT pulls is my tuner. The dyno guy is asking for cars that are under 700 hp? Hell my car makes over 1000rwhp. Oh well. Have fun and let us know the numbers.

Hey dustin thats not bad at all, now you have something to look foward too when you get the tune. These were my numbers with mac prochamber, slp catback, php intake spacer, JLT intake was 295.31hp, 308.12tq this was at newtech performance on a dynojet dyno. When i first had the car i had a Mac prochamber with slp catback it dynoed at 282.6hp, 265tq at APEX motorsports but i dont know what dyno. For you think cats might be hurting your power and maybe a tune. But i think your right there.

Yeah I think we had a cool time out there.

I pulled: 446rwhp-457rwtq with my '03 Cobra
my cousin Zack with his purple '88 coupe pulled: 360rwhp 381rwtq N/A. These numbers are almost exactly what I predicted too. No need for me to dyno my blue '88 GT now, our combos are extremely similar, so my #'s will be damn near the same.

The 2 tone blue & gray fox body was pretty impressive...It was bone stock i think except for off road midpipe, catback, & BBK cai, & it put down 228 rwhp & 290 ft lbs....

I dynoed my car in back to back runs. One in 3rd and one in 4th.
3rd=288rwhp
4th=301rwhp

Sound's like a fun time.
