Took the girlfriend out to teach her how to snowboard....
good for november, and great for man made snow!
45 degrees, perfect clear day, no jacket required and it was only $29!
the sun softened the snow somewhat, enough for me to make some bonzai runs and scare the skiers!
Kirkwood anyone? Season pass holder bitches!

I hate you for going.......
Was trying to talk the g/f into going last weekend too.
What do they have in the way of jib features? Boxes, rails, etc?
I got a new Libtech Box Scratcher i wana play around with and hopefully better my park riding.
I know we never had a chance to hit up Kirkwood last year but lmk when you plan to go this winter.

For mervin boards.......last year i rode a Dark Series and loved it for pretty much everything but a bit stiff for rails. I de-tuned the edges soo much it sucked in the pipe so that's why i got the little ole box scratcher to just mess around on.
Do you ride the 08?
Was thinking of returning the box scratcher for the TRice 157 w/ the blunt tip and tail.
How do you like yours?

I f*ckin love my TRS! Best board yet! I demo'd a Dark series also, cool board, but yaeh, a bit stiff for my taste. I have only riddin it 3 times since I broke my Scotty Whitlake board at the end of the season last spring. Damn 20 foot nose dive!

Dope i was really thinking hard about the 08 K2 WWW.
Now i'm thinking of returning the Box Scratcher and just taking the plunge on the 08 Libtech Skate Banana It's only $125 more and will allow me to ride it everywhere.
Are you into the reverse camber and tech in that board?

the banana board is hands down the best technology for snowboards, if you get it with the magne traction! That shit can go anywhere and i would love to be able to ride one. But, I love my Total Ripper Series board too much though.

Ya that's why i picked up the Scratcher as it had banana & magna-traction.....only prob is that it's so short 145
So are ya heading to Kirkwood?
I'm probably guna pass this week but maybe next weekend if i don't head to TNT at Sac w/ the new clutch.
