Guys, been tossing around the idea of registering my mustang as non-op to the dmv this coming year. Reason: it's my fourth car and basically is a garage queen. Newborn baby in the house and I figure I won't be driving it much for the next 18months or so. So, my questions are:
1) Non-op reporting WILL show up on future carfaxes, right?
2) If it does, do you think it may de-value my car if I choose to sell it in the future? The title is clean and clear right now.
Thanks for your input!

it shouldnt devalue it. but i guess it depends on the buyer.

I don't think the carfax will specifically say non-oped, It will probably say registration renewed/updated ect, or it might appear like there was another owner to a potential buyer.

Non-op will have nothing to do with its value. It is just an option to keep the registration current when the vehicle will NOT be operated. One time fee until you decide to put it back on the road.
