Anyone do home and/or termite inspections? Looks like I scored a place fairly cheap...just want to make sure it's not cheap for a reason. [Smile]

If you are buying a house from someone it is their responsibility to pay for an inspection. Your real estate agent should ask them to do it.

If you are buying a house from someone it is their responsibility to pay for an inspection. Your real estate agent should ask them to do it.
I think it's the buyer that must pay for the inspection.

Nope
depends on what kind of inspection. Certain lenders or fha loan require some that the buyer has to pay for (like roof cert). In a normal sale the seller provides a pest/termite report. A regular home inspection is something that the buyer gets just for piece of mind that everything is in good working condition. With a foreclosure its all out the window and the buyer has to pay for it all.

it all dipends in the counter offer your agent have to wright it in if you want the bank to pay for it or 50/50 or if your buying it as is
