Is it better to get a loan straight from the bank and buy a car from an individual seller or just look for a good deal at a dealer?
Thanks

you can get a loan at a bank and buy a car at a dealer FYI. Just because youre not getting a loan from them, doesnt mean you cant buy a car from them.

I found the best rate at My credit union. If You belong to one You should check into what they have to offer. Mine was over 4 year's ago and it was in the low 5% range. They send Me stuff all the time offering Me more money for another car.

I don't keep any money at the credit union I got the loan from so it's at least worth checking out.

The used car dealer I am getting my Cobra from gave me a bunch of crap and said the lowest he could get me was 9.94% so I decided to put the car on a credit card with only 3.99% apr... I guess he isn't making the percent that he had hoped, haha.

nice. try and see if you can get a new card with 0 interest for a year and transfer the balance. then when the year is almost up do the same thing. keep doing it until its paid off, and never pay interest
