i just got a parking ticket for parking in the red zone. i always thought that if the front tires were behind the red it was "OK". my front bumper was hanging over the red, ~8"-10" over.

i've searched on dmv's website, but couldn't find any specific info regarding this violation. all it said was no parking in the red zone.

alot of parking enforcement's are going to pda's w/dig. camera and blue tooth it to a portable printer. The citation and picture of the violation are printed out together.

No matter what I'd try going into court and see if they might throw it out, you never know.

thanks guys. it's a $50 fine. i don't think it's worth going to court over. i'll just be more careful next time.
