I posted this on tech talk asweel cuz im trying to get info ASAP. How safe is it to spray a 100 shot on a whipple 03 cobra? Giving the fact that it gets tunned and runs on 100 or 110 octane? or is methanol injection better? Thanks in advance.

why would u need more power? the whipple should make enough power for u,u just going 2 blow ur motor up wit nitrous..

Don't do methanol on a positive displacement blower.

No less than 110 octane/tune and you'll be fine. Trust me on the octane part, and stay with what it sounds like you already know, don't skimp...this is my 3rd motor from tryin' to skimp on octane while sprayin'...my car doesn't see less than 104-110 at any time, now, and it runs like a mofo. Your car will be insane with a 100 shot.
Have ya done anything else re: internals?...

Are you really asking "why more power"?
If he uses high octane fuel, a good fuel system, and has a good tune he'll be fine .

I predict a blown motor if you spray on top of a whipple. it does not matter what octane you use when you have stock internals..

Can always have more HP
It can and has been done but once you get into that amount of power....having the correct fuel to support is the key and any time you start to double or triple the power levels on any engine....it only becomes a matter of time before a re-build maybe be in order.
I would stay away from the meth as stated before and by the way how many pounds of boost are you running now?

Go direct port, or don't do it at all.
There is no way for a 'wet' kit to evenly distribute fuel to all 8 cylinders if sprayed before the blower.
Dry kits are better, but still do not deliver N2O evenly to all 8 cylinders.....especially when compressed through a blower.
We've made 650+RWHP with a Whapple on race gas with the right setup. The last one made 630RW at 18psi (not a stock motor). That's enough to run mid 10's in a full weight Cobra....or 9's with a light-weight drag setup.
