Thought this would be a interesting thread if it hasn't been done already. But post up the pics of the cars you have owned(include mod lists, when or how long you had the car ETC).

I'll start this off with

1.)When I was 13, around 1999-2000. Got my white '89 4cyl coupe. Got the car for free from a lady down the street. Pulled the motor etc. Had the hopes and dreams of one day swapping the motor out but reality hit and realized it takes money. So sold it a year later for $1000 (Can't find the pics)

2.)Around 14yrs old until 15yrs old old I had my 1971 Corolla TE21. Had 2tc 1.6l, 5spd, 4.10 gears, racing seats, tockico struts, newer paint, & springs...Car was slow as SHIT!! (75hp)

 -

 -

 -

3.)At 15-16yrs old I had my 2nd old school Corolla, this one was a '74 Te27 Mango (1980lbs). 3tc(1.8) bored out 2.0 forged pistons. 2tc head port & polish, maxed out custom cam, custom header, dual 45 weber carbs, recaros, harness's, restored interior, wallbro pump, luisi steering wheel, spec stg 2 clutch, ae86 tranny, 4.30 gears, 13x7 panasports, tockico struts. And I'm sure there's more..Car put down around 180whp at under 1980lbs(w/driver). Motor went up to about 8500rpms. Blew 4 trannys in 6months..Car was a nightmare

 -

 -

 -

4.) From 16 until now at 20yrs old I got my 2nd white Coupe. This one was a V8 already and it's an '87...Mods Rims, exhaust, lowered, pulleys etc. is all the little things thats been done. Trying to keep the car practical for driving around for now.

I know that it's not quite Lee's collection, but here's almost every car I've had in the last 5 years in relative order...

1992 LX hatch: I met my wife cruising this car. I sold it to start building our house.
 -

1989 LX hatch: Clean, but nothing done with it.
 -

1988 GT convertible: No comment. I don't know why I bought it...
 -

2000 Ford Lightning: Sold when we got pregnant [Smile]
 -

1991 LX hatch: I hated the color, but very clean.
 -

1991 LX convertible: I had to have another vert. I don't know why.
 -

1990 LX hatch: Currently for sale by Solbrothers
 -

2005 Subaru STi: I wish I never sold it.

1966 coupe: Nice, but sold to build my fastback.
 -

1966 coupe: Same as above LOL...
 -

1987 coupe: She looked like a princess, but acted like a whore... I don't miss this car.
 -

1965 fastback: My pride and joy, hopefully will be finished sometime next year...
 -

2003 Mach 1: The latest and greatest. I always wanted one...

That's just it. She lured me in with her looks. I owned the car less than 3 days before it torched a head gasket and had to be torn down. Then I put it back together and did a full 5 lug conversion with 4 wheel discs and all Maximum Motorsports rear suspension because I bought it with all stock rear suspension and brakes. It would head for the nearest ditch with only a light stab of the throttle. It was back together for less than a week before the #3 piston cracked. It was a well built 331, but we traced the problem to a faulty injector plug on the #3 cylinder and an inadequate fuel system. I was fed up at this point and sold it to a friend who was willing to sink more time and money into fixing her. I treated her like gold and she treated me like dirt. It was the most problematic car I've ever owned. Now do you want me to tell you how I really feel?

I forget, but it's either a Boss 302 or a Mach 1... I think it's a Mach.

That car went to Australia. You'd have to go a long ways to chase it LOL.

If I remember correctly, the front were 620 springs that might have been cut a touch. The rear was plain old leafs with lowering blocks. It really was pretty much stock.

Yeah... she was a bit unkind to me. I think she missed you. I tried to take good care of her. I bought her all kinds of nice things, but I guess she was just partial to her creator. Most Mustangs are I think.

I remember that you had issues with a previous head gasket failure and I mentioned the injector plug on the #3. That was the biggest issue with that cylinder not getting fuel all the time. The other issue was that the external pump was going out and wasn't maintaining pressure. Those two reasons had everything to do with the head gasket failure and ultimate piston failure. The piston let go just cruising down the road... no boost and no RPM fortunately. Otherwise, it would have done a lot more damage.

In the end, everything happens for a reason. The car went to a guy in the Bay area who absolutely loved the car and knew it from when you had it. I ended up getting the fastback I always wanted. I know that you really wanted the car back and I was trying to make that happen, but I had to keep my word to the sale that was already made. The guy really wanted the car and was willing to spend the money to make it right... engine rebuild, new fuel system, the whole nine. The last time I saw the car it had 18" anthracite FR500's on it. It really looked good.

I wish you would have bought it, the guy I sold it to will never drive it like it should be driven. He bought it to show and cruse around SF in. I asked him to call me if he ever took it to the track , he laughed and said "it will never see the track". [Roll Eyes] [Roll Eyes] [Roll Eyes] I almost took the keys and gave the money back.
