My old car is w/ it's new owner.....and i doubt it will ever see the track for any 10 sec passes again

I am on to a new project but don't know if i should post it up for fear of melting from the flames

This car still wouldn't have enough for what you run but hope it does what i want it to do w/ a fair amount of consistancy while still giving most single digit cars a good run

yes sir! with my fat ass in the seat weighin it down! that race was a spur of the moment "lets test the new turbo setup with barely 10-11psi against the fastest WRX we can find on 28psi with a GT35R turbo haha!!" memories......

I've never met the guy but i think he ran a friend of mine's 2G DSM back when he had a 2.8 and a port.

oh yes! crazy ass ron! his talon was a mean SOB!! and kamil is with that group of his buddies with all the fast DSMs right ? I think rory raced all of them on frontage one night for fun. i know rory basically grew up with ron though......friends for a long time

YUP....that's them they have some fast AWD streetcars but i heard Ron's car is/was being sold/parted

Trust me i've wanted one since 1 of our "rich-kid" friends from HS got one back in 1994

Problem is i don't have deep enough pockets to fund that kinda project.....you Supra owners and your sky high part prices

But since the cat's out of the bag we're putting together an 06 EVO RS.

We're waiting on Manley to get the rods they said they had in stock but come to find out they aren't after we paid them and then hopefully get the shortblock balanced and back in by the end of the month.

Maybe i'll start a thread with some pics if people care to see here.

oh cool. I'm sure you know Abe? I dunno what route he took with it I'm not sure if he is on stock turbo or aftermarket. You going with a gt35? That's cool those little sucker spool fast. Isn't Sean and Jerry going to some sort of event this weekend?

Yup i've met Abe in the past at the shop.

It's already got a 35R on it and we'll see if we can get it into the 9.90's by the end of the year on that turbo.....if not we will look into a 40/42R and maybe a quick shot to spool it.

The car was a legitimate 10 sec car as it stood when i bought it and that was w/o powering through the traps due to a mis-shift right before the finish line.

Do you know Sean(racers)? If you do it's his old car that he was building to go 9's i believe as well but needed out of it so i swooped it up.

Sean(racers) is a cool ass dude

Dealt with him many times and he always has the CLEANEST shit around and never skimps on the little stuff.

The car is at FF and i've been trying to get in there everyday after 10hrs of work to pull the motor to see exactly how much damage there actually is.

Kinda hard since i'm trying not to tie up rack time for paying customers cars

I hope to have it up and running again by the later part of this month....once we get the rods the turn around from Rob's machine shop should be about a week....from there we just need to make sure all the cars are out of the shop so we can slap it in and tune it.

What oct gas do you run in the Supra?
