Congrats Drew! I received my copy of the mag yesterday, I was flipping through & thought to myself "that car looks familiar". When I saw the plate, I then knew it was yours.

MM&FF deffinatly chose a deserving car to do an article on. It should have been on the cover though with the 60 foot times that things gets on 18" DR's...

Congrats Drew.

The one of him on the road came out nice, SLEEPER affect. The only gay thing I thought was how they took a picture from the back, but they angled the shot so you couldnt see the big AED sticker on the back! [Cool]

How come you didnt pose next to the car man?

I went and bought it finally. The only reason why I ask is cause I was driving my truck on the wrong side of the road while the photographer was sitting in the bed. It was a little ballsy. [burnout]

Is it some crazy fluke that you just happened to bring this thread back up on my B-Day? LOL

I miss that setup, a little. Wish I had more time to get the new one up and running. Work on customers cars are keeping me busy though. Can't be mad at that! [burnout]

The first time I seen this car at the track he was doing a burnout and I said dam that car sounds clean and when he was half way down the track I told my cousin dam that's a low 12 second pass but I was wrong it went 10.4...that's a very nice car you have...I know you tuned it but what type of tuning system did you use?

Thanks for the complements. The fastest the car went on 18's was 10.7 and the fastest it went on slicks was 10.6. New setup should be a touch faster and a lot more streetable.

Shaun, the AED Tuna, tuned the car with the factory 94 GT ECU.

Wow, thats crazy . LOL , I was actually searching through google for a mystic new edge Saleen that was for sale on here like a year and a half ago and came across this thread. And i remember when I first got that issue I was like man, thats so fucken cool to see a car from here in Ca. being that most feature cars in MM&FF are from the midwest or east coast. Plus i liked how it was N/A and ran 10's on 18's LOL

BTW Happy Birthday Dude [patriot]

Your right it was a 10.6 my bad...how much for a tune like yours well not the exact same cause we have different setups but somewhat similar ?

I damaged original core support in 2001 and never repaired it properly. So now seemed like a good time to get a fresh setup on there.

Strut towers where not damaged or replaced. [patriot]

I am excited to see the outcome of this build. No doubt there will be another magazine spread on this car down the road.
