I am wanting to buy an in dash dvd player for my 2003 suburban but I want to keep onstar and have factory bose system. dont want any issues with compatibility. Anyone have any experience with this? Also crutchfield notes say some 7 inch flip out dvds wont work due to dash configuration. Anyone deep into audio/video for vehicles?

I want remote (rear view) camer inputs and two aux video outputs.

Thanks.

In the 2003 burban the flip out will work but the shifter on the colum gets in the way you have to move it to let the dvd come out. And also there are adaptors so you can keep onstart and steering controls.

Metra will tell you to use a GMOS-04 but that harness is crap. Use the Peripheral GMAH24B along with a PAC SWIPS module to retain the steering controls.

Yeah don't use that one, I've run into problems with those so we order the Peripheral GMAH24B instead.
