He sold me a fucked up t-5 ($350) with synchros 3rd and 4th in no good condition they grind! I gave him over a month to just come up with $100 bucks and keeps giving me the run around!I tried working with this guy and Im done waiting on this FOOL!

yes I offered to keep it because I have a a guy that can change the syncros for $150. So I tried working with this dude to give me $100 back and just keeps giving me the run around! That the tranny wasnt his and it was his friends and he did it as a favor yada yada yada.... and to top it off he brought it to me for an extra $50 total of $400.

This is why we need a feedback rating system. These are the kind of people that gives cafords a bad name.

If theres no feedback ratings, theyre shouldnt be a For sale section period.

oh damn.I think this is the same guy I was going to buy a white lx from.it has a lot of mods and the price was pretty cheap.if he sold you a bad tranny,I can only imagine what's wrong with the car?

sorry to hear your situation but I also agree on the ratings.I notice theres a lot of new member selling parts and as much as they seem cool I just stay away from the newbies unless I know them or somebody from here can vouch for them.

Maybe there is a way to keep people from posting in the Ford Sale section till they have a certain number of posts.... that would at least give people time to get an idea of what kind of person they are dealing with.

Posts mean nothing, too many people post whore shit. Look more at how long they've been a member, then post counts. Like I wouldn't deal with someone who has 700 posts in 5 months.

This has happened to me as well
One of my friends(no longer a friend) Baught a car from another very good buddy i met from this website and now we dont really talk(just whats up and shit like that on aim) because my ex-friend baught a mustang off of my other bud and was $500 short. He evan told him to sign a contract just in case and he said its kool you know eddie and i evan told him i think you should you know you just never know.(safer)so takes the car home and a week later he finds out from someone here that the car was wrecked and that the hood would never be aligned right cause of that. So my ex-friend was all pissed saying he isnt going to pay. :(IT was a reall big mess, Thats why if you can do a contract. Only one prob i encounted here on cafords since i been here which was buying something but it wasnt that big of an issue, I havnt had one complaint of the things i sold here.
