im looking for the black trim that is used to hide ugly jagged edges when cutting sheetmetal or plastic panels. i trimmed my interior panels to fit my cage and would like to use this sort of trim to clean up the cuts a bit.
anyone know where i can find this?

you can get it at auto parts stores,i forget the name but its the same stuff that people put on the edges of their car doors and wheel wells...

I have seen that at places like OSH. Not necessarily intended for cars but sheet metal in general. Though I think the above suggestion is good as well.

Check Home Depot in their HVAC and/or metalwork section.

It's used for some ducting and or auto trim as well..

I think it's called windlace or windlass...
