Muffler bearings are an easy 50-150hp add on if applied correctly. It appears he went with the 'big' gear for the 100+ horsepower addition. That thing should FLY.....

I just ordered me a set from summit for $237 shipped. If you want these for a 200-350hp mustang tell summit you want muffler bearings for a 1970 firebird V8. They add the most HP versus any guaranteed! Ive never seen less than 65hp on ANY mustang.

just picked some up. Tognottis and gotellis both have them in stock. I grabbed the spintech 3" part # ber318769, along with a new piston return spring (525lb) and im gonna do a bliker fluid flush (ams oil) later this week. good for 200 + hp at the wheels. [patriot]

lol these things add BOOOO_KOO hp. if you havent had it servied please go to a muffler shop nad have it looked at.

Muffler bearings usually work real good and add tons of HP but you are installing it backwards. You'll probably drop some HP that way. How did you get it in that way? You must have used a left handed cresent wrench, no?

Damn guys...I was at a personal test and tune at Sac today...about 5 of us out there. After 1 pass, I got kicked off. They checked the muffler and saw that I had more than 1 bearing without an SFI sticker. Now I have to send my mufflers back to get certified. Dammit!
