Well I called the dealership 2day to get some info and my car and i had the service guy run my vin #. He told me there was a safety recall on some of the 94-01 stangs for a faulty e-brake. Said it was only for certain ones produced at a certain plant. Told me 2 bring it in anytime and they'd fix it for free in about 2 hours. So u fellas mite wanna call the dealership and have em run your vin# at the service dept

take it to any ford dealer. it's a recall and get it fixed for free. also check to see if your intake manifold has been replaced as well since there was a recall for that too fr your GT.
