I think I'm paying about 140-150... with renters insurance and 1 ticket for 5 over.
A small tip... get another beater and have that as your primary car on the policy.

$91/month. I'm an "old" guy and have been with State Farm for 12 years and I have a good driving record. With that said, dude, you're a 22 year old MALE who wants a car that has 400hp=cha-ching(for the insurance co. [Frown] )It ain't gonna be pretty. Good luck, though, it's worth it if ya can afford it. [patriot]

You have a 100 deductable?! that's why your monthly payment is so high! [Eek!] Change it to 250 or 500 and it should come down some...

i dont know how some of you are getting such great deals on insurance. what's the coverage like? when i was insuring my 03cobra the avg premium(i searched several) was 1800-2000 a year as a pleasure vehicle with 300/500 coverage. i was 27 years old at the time, had 0points and a good driving/insurance record. not sure how much location plays into the pricing but this was partly the reason y i got rid of my 03 and in retrospec, i wish i knew about collector car insurance as this is what im using for both of my stangs.

so i dont have an 03/04 but i do have a 97cobra.

I pay $800 for 6months with AAA
Im 22yrs old 23 in may nothing major in past 5yrs.
average coverage with 500.00 deductable.

key is tell them you have a short commute and its garaged.
i said 5mi one way commute and garaged...

AAA does this thing where you pay you first payment like 150 then every month it goes down till your last payment is like 58bucks. i like it and im not complaining.

damn all u guys suck!!! i dont know why the fuck im paying so damn much!!!???

Mine is about $150/month with home or renters insurance too. Again I'm also an old guy and been with State Farm for 20yrs. Crazy driver sometimes but no points in my record. Always go to traffic school to clear a moving violation whenever I get one. Good luck! You'll love it if you do get one, maybe it's worth it.

for all you younge guys, look put your parents as the driver and put your self as the temperarily driver. That is the only way you could buy one of these cars. Good luck and PM me I have a 2003 silver cobra, and a 2004 Mystic cobra for sale [Big Grin]

good luck

Even though its not a cobra, my mach 1 was only like 20 bucks cheaper a month than a 03-04 cobra when i got it... back then i was paying 350 a month for full coverage(1 ticket, 1 accident, 21 yrs old), now after a year and both incidents getting dropped from my record i pay 220 a month.(good driver discount, 22 yrs old)
btw this is mercury insurance...

Brain fart... I forgot to add that covers my 03, and my 98 ranger as well as my renters insurance.
