he apologized, but I think he fucked up bad. Stephen A Smith said it best. The majority of athletes and sports in general feel that way, but just arent stupid enough to say it in public. And he did it right around the time John Ameachi came out! Seriously bad timing. He is making Tim Hardaway look even worse. He lost any chance he ever had to coach, be an executive, be a commentator, commercials....anything. He aint broke but this will be felt in his pocketbook.

He is still one of my favorite players tho. Long Live the "Killer Crossover".

you understood the comparison however I think him voicing his views is OK. I dont think any less of the guy. Im saying being gay like sicpoint and having sex with children is sick in my book. They both discust me.

i commend dude for stating his opinion right from the heart but ud think he'd have some common sense to know that such a bold statement will have serious consequences in terms of future opportunities and making extra money.
im sure there are racists and homophobes celebrities and professional athlets out there but most have the common sense to refrain from totally opening up when it comes to taboo topics.

hardaway...great on the court but stupid in front of the media.

i think he just messed up his chance of any future endorsements, no company will stand for that nor wants to be a part of that. smart kid we got there. had a good thing and i guess the companies now have the right to NOT use his ass as a representative. lol

Guys, this guy is a terrible announcer and has failed at this in the past. He has no future in that. And endorsements? Who in their right mind would involve TH with endorsements.

This guy had nothing of interest waiting for him in the future before those comments were said and nothing after those comments were said.
