sierra..if youre around the area i would go to kirkwood instead. i normally go to heavenly only because its near my timeshare but if i had to choose a resort from that area it would be kirkwood handsdown. the trails are nice and wide so u dont have to worry about crashing into some beginners making sudden turns.

if it's strickly between heavenly or seirra then seirra for sure. heavenly has TOO MUCH ICE!!! Much of the mountain is in the shade so that shit freezes to offten.

Plus they are always too packed full of idiots that are learning. Seems to be the place for that shit.

Mainly depends on riding style and preference on runs ie. Groomed stuff, terrain parks, big hits, trees, pow stashes, etc.

All the resorts are doing much better after this past storm [dance]

I was just at Northstar this past weekend, got a season pass to Sierra and Northstar so been to Sierra a bunch. Also been to Heavenly a bunch this year.

If you got to Heavenly i would suggest staying on the Nevada side as they get better quality snow imo and they have better intermediate runs there.

If you looking to huck yourself off table-tops and jib stuff i'd definitely rec Sierra as they have great parks there that range from small flat boxes, rails, and so forth all the way up to 30ft tables etc.

Have fun!

If you're up this week i'll probably be at Sierra and Heavenly [Big Grin]

Ya that's cool to cruise especially at night [Cool] and they have the Riviera park open as well so you don't get too bored of that one run all night [Big Grin]

I've never been to heavenly so I was just wondering. I like to get lost in between the trees and I know sierra's got some nice routes like these all to yourself, does heavenly?
