Rick I dropped my motor off and seen ur car in hibernation [Big Grin] I just winged it and drove around looking for bailey loop [Razz] , Mine should be done in a few weeks, fully forged,stageIII heads with custom blower cams + KB 2.2 [patriot] OH yeah did I mention I registered it in a smog excempt county [worship]

Yah, my baby's almost done. I can't wait. Sounds like yours is gonna be kickin' as well. HCI does good work. Cole builds 'em up nicely [patriot] .....Now where are you registered, I could definitley use that, NO WAY mine passes smog with the current setup [Frown] .

i had a bad experience with hci. Travis especially. They don't take ownership of their mistakes. I had to go to force fed to fix the problem. Of course they blamed the tune, i assure you it wasn't the tune.

hopefully it was not as bad as my fun time at CDT. I left with a blown engine from a jacked up install and tuning AND a $ 800 bill to go with it.. a year and 6K later I'm almost back up.. I dont remember signing a release for that day also... hummmmmm

...Yeah, I jacked it up again. I downshifted from 6th to 1st(trying to go to 3rd)on the freeway [Eek!] [Frown] [Embarrassed] ...broke 2 plugs which tore up 2 cylinders. How the hell I managed that is beyond me [Confused] So essentially, it's gonna be whole new motor when it's done...and of course a few more goodies, as usual, while the motor is out. Cant' wait,HCI has always done good work on my car. [patriot]

i have had no experiences with hci.but i do know that no matter what youre dealing with(cars,etc)youre gonna make a mistake from time to time.i suppose the bad experience would be how you deal with it after the mistake.i do all my own work but if i was gonna pay some one to do my car it would either be aed(have met drew and seen the work) or hci(untill this thread have heard nothing but good)but thats just my .02

Does that have somthing to do with diesils? Cause those are gonna have to smog soon too and you gotta get some 2k part to install so it will pass. At least thats what I heard.
