the white witch in niles if I remember correctly. She hitches a ride and if you pick her up and get her to her destination she disapears or some shit.

talked to a guy here at work who lives right next to niles canyon. he said his uncle told him that he gave her a ride to some girls house. when he knocked on the door she came out and said her mom had been dead for ten years .

oh yea, he told me this other story. i guess some kids were driving back from prom night by niles. the car broke down so the guy went for help, he told the girl to stay locked in the car with her teddy bear. when he came back she was dead, with the doors locked from the inside and her teddy bear was hangin from a nearby tree!

I saw something in Niles Canyon about 5/6 years ago. Some gal dressed in all white - gloves, viel, the whole nine yards... couldn't see any skin on her at all. She was off the side of the road waving her hands around like she was extremely diswrought &/or flagging down a car. Let's just say that I haven't driven that road after 10PM since that day. Maybe it was some girl who just lost a loved one (Niles does have quite a few accidents like that), but then again - who knows .

Too many damn wierd things happen in this world - I figure this one just ain't worth messin' with.

tale i know is chick in white is on side of road and if u dont pick her up, you'll see her sittin in ur back seat thru ur rear view mirror. if you wanna try some scary shit...try drivin thru the canyon at night and for a sec... turn off ur headlights.... fun for u...scary as hell for ur passengers.

Yeah.. i've heard similar stories in Peru too.
There is a place called "casa matusita" it is well known, the second story of a house is haunted. a lot of people have gone up there and noone has been able to spend the night there. they usually come out screaming not wanting to talk about what's happened.
Only 3 pople had, up to 1995 when i read the article, managed to stay there the whole night. people went looking for them after sun rise and they had to be admittied into mental institutions cause they went' crazy

Did you guys hear about that white farm house on Crow Canyon Road near the Hanna Boys Ranch...I guess a few years back they found the owner dead and laying in the bathtub...the strange thing is that the tub was filled with milk and sliced bananas....legend has it that there was a cereal killer on the loose...

shotgun is right! theres other houses on the way up there and u know they're all strapped with hillbilly shotties..lol. view from up there is sick at night...just dont get caught being up there...no ones welcome. recently i heard they were thinking of making that top area a recreactional park...called plateau something.

as for the secret sidewalk...hells yeah ive been on it. several times way back in the days...u had to roll deep with fools or else u were bound to get punked by all the stoners that owned that area. we used to park at the end of old canyon road..and walk past the gate...and follow the tracks to the tunnel. pretty damn fun times... we did shit like going in the tunnel and finding a cubby hole when the train passes thru...or even attempted to go cow tippin at the end of the sidewalk...although we almost got killed trying to creep up on them...they all woke up and scrambled in a stampede. and on our way out we hit up big daddys!! who here knew what that was?

Does anybody live in the south bay? There's a Toys R Us out here that I thought was haunted when I was a kid. People claimed that toys got moved around at night, etc. I don't know where this comes from

i dont know the exact story...but its a side walk thats pretty remote...i dont know how else to get it... its weird cause ive been to both ends and it starts behind some residential homes on a hill and ends up out in a field middle of nowhere...was a cool place to hang out back in high school...but you had to be pretty brave...bad things happened out there(personal safety).

Their is a similar "Ghost Story" for Sawyer Camp RD. This RD runs below the 280 bridge in San Mateo. The story goes, some lady jumped off in the 70's (and died). Her ghost (a lady in ALL WHITE) will pop out from around some bend, people have to swerve to avoid hitting her, witch results in them crashing. IMHO Try selling that one to your insurance.

I drive niles all the time every day to work and back and have lots of times at night never seen anything close to scary I heard of a spot up by placerville i want to go to take pics see if nething coo comes up just waitin for my friend and also some black coal mines in antioch or somewhere near there i heard something about witches

i heard about a couple stories in antioch... next to the coal mines in the middle of nowhere theres a slaughter house which they say its hunted because some serial killer killed some poeple in there and supposably u can hear the chains and other stuff move. while your goin up the road theres suppose to be some guy standing next to the road dressed in all black...my lil brother when up there with his friends and they said it was scary but they didnt hear or see anything.
