Damn! My break light is comiing on when I apply the breaks even when the emergency break is off. It's stating to piss me off because I am afraid it's gonna lock up or something. Ever heard of this? Just got it out of the shop last week.

The fluid can be low because your brake pads are gone and the piston is all the way out so all the fluid is in the lines.

The light comes on when there is a problem with your service/parking brake system (can be but not usually related to ABS unless your ABS light comes on too). Check the master cylinder fluid level, if it's ok disconnect the fluid level switch (the only electrical connector on the resivour. Jump the two pins with a paper clip, iff the light goes off then then you need to replace the master cylinder resivour or master cylinder because the float is stuck. If it's still on it would be a good ideal to remove the center console to gain access to the parking brake mechanism. Theres a little white plastic switch with one wire going to it. Disconnect that one wire and ground it out against the parking brake and see if the light goes on and off. If that makes the light go off you need to replace the parking brake warning light switch but you're also going to want to check the travel of the lever to make sure the mechanism isn't broken causing excessive travel which damaged the switch.
