Damn, I don't care where the money is, for stang lovers I think this sucks big time. Stang owners or should I say Saleen owners pay extra for the exclusivity and extra hp to have a one of a kind car/experience. This just waters it all down. Bad Move IMHO, very bad move.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhh. SLP is HARDLY a company like Saleen (they make mufflers for christ sake ), and definately does not have a reputation or standards of Saleen. In fact it's not even the same kind of business, so how can you compare the 2.

Thats like Shelby taking his name and putting it on a Camaro. C'mon now.

Steve Saleen doesnt even own the company any more, he just runs it. I think in the end it wasnt his call but who ever owns the company.

Im really not feeling this saleen camaro. saleen has always been synonymus with ford and being a bad ass car. Ive always wanted to own one but now that its no longer going to be a ford exclusive i might be changing my mind. Being that im a ford buff id rather stay with ford exclusive nomenclature. but i guess from a business aspect its a good move.

That's all it's about. It's never been about being exclusive to Ford or what have you. Steve is in it for the money and puts out a good car. But, that doesn't mean, he can't leave Ford. Besides, Roush isn't going anywhere.

That will not happen. It's the reason the Camaro was taken off the market before. They shove too much bullshit into the car and the cars like $35,000 or more and weighs 4,000lbs.
