I've been looking for a nice low mileage daily driver and was wondering if this car is worth the money. I'm thinking of offering 5K even. I really dont want to go anymore than that. What do you guys think? I would really appreciate your guys' input.
thanks

It looks and sounds pretty nice. Exterior looks clean too. 5,800 seems a little high, but if it's in that good of condition with 77k miles, it might be worth it. Try talking them down and see how bad they really want to sell it.

The AOD will hurt the resale. If it were a 5 speed I'd say that's a good deal. Being and AOD I'd offer him $4,000 and inspect it closely before you shelled out the cash.
Goodluck

i think the only reason people list them for so expensive is that 1- people lowball sellers all day and 2- Some one has to be stupid enough to buy it for the price listed sooner or later.

If that car were a 5 speed and the mileage was legit and it was cleen as the low mileage represented, it would be worth every penny of $5,500.

Thanks for your input guys. Keep em coming.
I called him yesterday and asked if the car was still for sale. Talked to an elderly gentleman who is the original owner and he said that it has grey cloth interior, a/c still blows cold, everything is in great condition, yada yada.... Then I asked what was the best offer he received on it, and then he stated that some movie company wanted to take a look at this Friday for the price of $5500, and then asked me to call back on Friday in case the car is not sold. So I'll wait it out till Friday and give him a call back, if its sold it wasn't meant to be.
Would the fact the the car is AOD really hurt the sale that much? Would a $4000 offer be reasonable?
Thanks ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

I could have sworn i've seen that car for sale recently on CL.
Don't think they were asking that much back then

Looks like a nice car. However, did you notice that it had blue interior? Also, I don't know if I would want a car w/ an AOD. That's just my opinion though.
Be sure to run a car fax and make sure the milage is legit and it doesn't have a salvage title.
I think $5800 is a bit high. I would definitely try and negotiate price if you are really interested.

When I call him on Friday, I'll ask if he is willing to go down to the 4K range. I wonder what he'll say?

For a 1993 with that low of mileage IMO its worth every bit of what he he is asking

Thanks Haulin for the input.
I was looking at the ad again and I might be mistaken but one of the pics looks like headlight has a clear corner lense and the other side doesn't
hmmm note to self, another question to ask.
