I had to put my dog Chloe to sleep this morning. She was in the family for 13-14 years. She was a good dog. This is my tribute to her. I miss you Chloe.
RIP

RIP I had to put my dog to sleep a few yrs back and it was hard to do. She is in a better place looking down on you.

that sucks i had to put my first dog(got him when i was 1 year old and he was a puppy) a few years ago becuase he was suffering and had caterakes(eye problem-sp?)and some other problems.

She stopped eating for me on saturday evening, Then she stopped drinking water. She was all bones nothing else. She couldn't walk i carried her everywhere. I had to hold her up when she'd go to the bathroom because she couldn't stand. I had a feeling last night when i was petting her that she might not last through the night.

When we got her she was yellow because Greyhounds are abused or killed if they can't race. She was left to die in a kennel and slept in her own pee. We got her and she became a really fat greyhound, she loved eating so trying to force her to eat was really hard. My other dog E-Z knows she is gone. He was whining a lot last night too.

Sorry for your loss. Even though she isn't suffering anymore it doesn't make it any less sad.

I feel for you. I had to put my dog to sleep a couple of weeks ago. He was in the family for 11 years.

I lost my dog in 1994... He was 14 years old...
So I know the loss you feel. You can't replace her, but the memories will always be with you.
Like they say, Time Heals All Wounds...
