I went on Friday. It was tight. Hella Mustangs. Fastbacks are kinda rare to find. Found three sik originals a GT350H, a Shelby GT350, and a Boss 429! I think i saw another Shelby somewhere else also. I am gonna go back next weekend.
Heres the pics

yea it looks very realistic and I think its called fire? I remember watching a show on discovery that showed the guy who did this kind of work and he got a bit aggitated when people mistook it for a flame job.

this was the first year that the cops actually had all the streets on lock down. all the surrounding streets were closed. Cops everywhere. I remember a few years ago you could still drive around the strip, but now you better have a good pair of walking shoes if you dont stay on the strip.

Yea every year seems to get more and more strict which could be a good thing last year was crazy and just hella drunk ignorant dudes trying to talk to you this year was half the people and half the problems but sucks bc a lot less nice cars are being brought out and more scrappers and teens w cars and rims which we can just see here in the bay area so takes the whole idea away from august nights me and my friend were jokin about how it will be interesting to see hot august nights like 10 years from now and if there will even be one still and stuff so we ll see

Dana did you take a closer look at that black 67 factback with the 427 and torq thrusts? I saw that several years ago at Knotts and thought that was one of the baddest fastbacks I've seen in a while. It had a killer lookin skull for a shifter. If you were lookin at pure power to weight ratio versus rarity that has the Boss 429 beat.

Thats tight i thought it was a 428 and not a 427.
