I think this ball is not worth shit, especially with the grand jury, steroid use, etc that is all around Barry Bonds. Hell, McGwire's ball with for 3.1 million dollars and then Bonds ball went for 450k. Bonds steroid use has KILLED the value of his memorabilia etc.

I think the owner of the ball should just be happy with anthing he gets from the ball. Heck, it could have been a Durham ball or something worth $20 bucks. I'd guess he'll get UNDER 100k and I'd also not be surprised if he got under 50k. I think it was smart of him to donate a portion to BB&BS's because wealthy people will consider that.

keep in mind this is only the 1st few days of the auction. most of the activity occurs during the last day to the very last sec. i wouldnt be surprised to see the ball hit a half mil.

Thats ridiculous. All this prove is how crazy people are for sports memorabilia. I'd rather keep most of that money and put it towards a house and my Fastback
