hey guys, it's been awhile since i've been on here for more than a post or two, it's fvcking hot in phoenix!
so i picked up another car...
...not another mustang though
i got rid of the es300 i had since i discovered a warped head and i wasn't feeling having to replace the head and hope the block wasn't warped also, so i sold it and picked up this new one, 2000 gs300.
this is how it was minus the tint when i bought it:
then i decided to upgrade the rolling stock, so i picked up a nice set of 18s for it, i didn't want to go too big, 20s aren't my style, and i think these set the car off perfectly!
next is 2003 taillights and some upgraded speakers.
so long from the surface of the sun

clean ride...I love that style. Wheels are too small tho. Can see too much wheel well.

I like the ride. VERY clean, especially in that AZ sun. Keep that baby shiny because it looks beautiful. The rims are perfect.

thanks guys for the compliments!
i'm planning on lowering it 1 inch to get rid of the space in the wheelwells.
thanks ernesto, i might see how much springs would be from your buddy, but i think the dealership will be a little too expensive.
btw- this color was the color the droptop's paint was based on, to me it's the best looking color on these cars.

yeah, thats exactly why i chose those. i've seen some real nasty wheels on some nice cars and i didn't want to go that way, not too blingy but enough to give you a second glance.
thanks man.
thanks johnny, you need to come out here soon and help me ball

thanks man, either an acura or a lexus will last forever, as long as no major engine work has been done on them, it seems once you dig into them, they keep breaking.
it was 118 for a couple days, it's a pretty steady 105 now and it will prolly stay that way for awhile.
mesa isn't too far from me, you should hit me up when you get here, i'll show you some hot spots!
whats bringing you out here?

nice gs man!
how much did the coilovers lower it? i'm looking to drop it just an inch or so, did you have any issues with tire rub when turning?
and what if any engine mods can i do to make it quicker? its fun, but like they say, you can never go fast enough!

Thanks bro. The coilovers can raise it an 1" over stock and lower 2.2" from stock. Those are for the Tein CS (comfort series) Rides soft like stock minus the boat float. Not ruff at all. I have the L-Tuned springs first and those will lower it 1", just wasnt low enough for me. Go to the GS3/4 classifieds at clublexus and you can find some used sets pretty often.
I have no issues with rubbing at all. The iforged wheels were custom made with the offsets that wouldnt need fender work.
As far as engine mods. The best option is an SRT intake with race ECU. Check out swiftracingtechnologies.com and you can get a good idea. Also, guys swap out the rear for a Supra differential (3.76) and maybe a TC. Some guys like the torque master spark plugs too.

nice...i don't know what i want to do with this beast. i like the luxury factor so i don't think i'm gonna put a kit on it, but i've seen this TRD front mesh front grill that looks nice. what about anything to make it handle better than a boat? i've seen some sway bars on ebay that looked like they might start getting the job done. i just got beat out of a corner by a ford ranger on the way home
and i don't want that to happen again.

TRD sway bars will work great. TOM's also makes a lot of braces for the GS. Or you can check out Daizen. Go to www.l-tunedparts.com and you can have some fun searching the GS section for all types of parts. Especially suspension. I have the L-Tuned grill. The mesh one is probably the TRD or TTE (Toyota Team Europe) one. Both fit great.
