actually the first publicly owned one was actioned off on barret jackson for $600k, well when they come out that guy gets the first one

I just looked it up on the Ford website the car weighs over 3,900lbs!!!!... Mags have it listed equal to a Standard C6 Vette in 0-60 and the 1/4 mile....wtf!?

the car is junk. With all that added weight the car will never be fast. I can make half those hp numbers the gt500 has and still run the same track times.

I think the '07 shelby looks cool...I'm sure it runs great. 5.4L 3v supercharged! 475hp to the wheel. After a couple simple mod's I'm sure it will run 11's all day.

I have an 'o6 GT.(4.6L 3v) Traction and lauching....no problem. Horsepower is lacking. after a tuner and x-pipes. the o6 is better. Imagine doing the same to a '07 shelby.

Have patience wait for the hype to settle. buy one at the sticker price for $42k. I think it will be worth it. ALL FORD DEALERS WILL BE SELLING THE SHELBY! Not only the authorized SVT dealers.

Ford needs this car to do well to make their share holders happy.
