I know that no one here drives illegally modified cars so we have nothing to worry about, but, if you are wondering why traffic may be a little heavier than usual tomorrow night in San Mateo county, it could be because the San Mateo county sheriff and various Police agencies within San Mateo county might be slowing traffic down by targeting certain vehicles for road side inspections to spot Illegal modifications.

Damn I need to get off My ass and get a list of all My carb #'s. My car is legal except for the adj. fuel pressure reg. and the inline fuel pump. It is pretty easy to make good power these day's with smog legal part's but it is more expensive to do.

It was all over the news tonight. They are pulling cars over that look modified. To low, loud exhaust, no front plates, rear plate covers, and all the usual stuff... They are giving fix-it tickets out for all the issues. On KTVU2 they showed the police measuring the height of the cars. All imports. And all pretty beat looking. I would be embarressed. Safety wire holding the intake up! On KGO7 it was a 5.0 vert Mustang. Drivers side door missing interior panel. White w/ blue flames. Anyone here know who it was??? I hope they didn't give him a ticket... fight the power!

Road side smogs? Wow how does that shit work. You fail and they take your ride? Or another trip to the State Ref for further ass raping?
God California is full of tree hugging hippies now.

Hopefully they will pull some of the shit off the road that is falling to peices. Civics with body kits stapled on, exhuast mufflers hung with wire, lowered acuras scraping oil pans down the freeway. Don't tell me you haven't seen that shit and wanted to do something aobut it. I think its a good idea,...but I also think they should try and catch some car theives rather than ticket some kid for an off-road h-pipe.
Like just about everything in life..it has it's pro's and con's. At least they warned everyone the day before so you can driver the beater to work or go a different route.
