KIEV (Reuters) - A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.


"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.

"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."

The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo was packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks.

Religion is all about having faith, you can't prove any of it or you can't disprove any of it.

Does god exist?? YES, but why do bad things happen? See GOD gives us free will if not for free will we would just be puppets, therefore he gives us free will. The right to chose right from wrong. The guy went and played with the lions???(that was wrong) NO SHIT THE lions GOING TO KILL YOU. Its like sky diving with out a Parachute and saying "god will save me".

I guess from a religios persons view you can look at these idiots and say well "IT WAS THERE TIME TO GO".........
