I plan on bringing it to my body/paint guy in a few weeks to get the whole car prepped/painted, not sure what color yet.
I was going to do the eleanor thing but changed my mind.
Disc for all four corners, new suspension. I have black interior it just needs to be installed. Some wheels (still undecided) and lastly put a little more ponies under the hood.

Sweet!
I say keep it the blue color, it looks lighter in the 1st pic.. but that might be faded paint. But the blue in the second pic is KILLER.
Nice find bro!! [worship]

So what are your plans for it? Are you going to keep the 289? how does the rest of the car look? Pretty straight body? Have you pulled the rug up yet from the floorpans lol Floorpans are only 18 or 19 dollars from Mustangplus...

Im not sure if im going to keep the 289 or not. Its stripped down on the inside. The only thing on the inside right now is the drivers seat, I just fixed that this morning so I can move it back and forth. The floorpans are in good shape. One ding on the drivers side door other than than pretty straight. I picked up a mustangplus catalog from the goodguys yesterday, been looking at it every chance I get.

Thats cool. I am going to do all the body work on mine. My dad is thinking of buying a portable paint booth to paint it.

by the end of summer we might be ready to paint it, could be running and driveable in 2-3 years.
I am really not sure, i am surprised at how far we've gotten so far in repairing the things that are bad. We've already started fabricating.
I don't know how long it will take to install the new front clip and suspension and installing the rear frame and suspension. We still need to order that stuff too [Eek!]

Hey are you on myspace? i have a Mustang Fastback owners group...

pat should be able to knock it out in a day or two [Big Grin]

really though, once you have it stripped and ready to go it isnt that bad, the body work should be way worse than the new suspension

I might have Pat come over next week to weld in the 4pt and the driverside floorpan. Then maybe i'll order the suspension/frame and get that ready [Big Grin]
