WHat gives you more hp headers or cobra intake manifold upper and lower

Which intake give you more hp? Cobra, trickflow elderbrock? How much would it cost to get it put on?

depends..there diff ones by each comp..u should be able to put it on urself..

best one for the money would have to be the trickflow intake, and the instalation is easy so it should not cost u more than $100 to put on, but u could do it yourself.

FYI:
I noticed zero gains at the track when going from stock headers to FMS 1 5/8" shorties at the track.
The intake should be good for 0.1 in ET

well i do most of the work myself, and an intake install is not that hard so that's why i put that price, plus i know some really good mexican mechanics that they would the work cheap and clean.

They are both similiar in gains since the bottleneck is the stock head design.
I would do headers since they are much easier to install. Then I would change the intake when I get some aftermarket heads since they're right next to the intake anyway.
