Why is it all you ever see are fast fox bodies and terminators. What happened to the 95-98 cobras? I dont ever see any race videos on the net. Are they just not the weapon of choice?

fox body= light easy/cheaper to mod

terminator=supercharged out of the factory-pulley,intake, catback and a tune and your at 450+hp.

Fox bodies are cheap to built and if you want to built a modular motor, well your way better off with a terminator and modifying it. WAY CHEAPER......


Don't get it wrong there is nothing better then seing your 260hp motor put down over 500HP. [Whoo Whooooo!]

I have a pretty quick '03 Cobra, but would love to have a 94/95 Cobra. I absolutely loved my 95 GT. The sound of the 5.0 and the potential for power was awesome. Honestly, I liked the way the T5 shifted a lot better than my T56 in the 03.

The 96-01 Cobra engines were crap just from my experience with them (I've blown 4 of them all N/A). Though I have not owned a 96-98 GT (for good reason), I think most would agree that they simply cannot compete since they lack the modding ability (unless you have $$$). The price of the 03-04 Cobra is very affordable now so of course people are getting theirs before all the low mileage ones get away. But honestly, I still can't remember the last time I saw one on the road. It still turns heads like the first day I bought it.
