I got two messeges from "lambert@rickardgroup.com" today. There was an email going around a while ago that said that companies where going to start using cell phone numbers for spam, but I didn't believe it. How do I get this to stop?

Yeah I know there is some statute that companies have to follow (I think it is if they make two attempts after you ask them to stop then it can be deemed nuisance and you can try to be compensated in civil court), but it is not worth the paper work to sue. I think there was a phone number or list of some sort that you can sign up for to get your phone number taken off a national distribution list or something like that.

what a coincidence.. today i received 8 spam TMs from a company. it was the same message being sent over and over..the funny thing is the address was from a travel agency company telling me to visit a medication site. needless to say i emailed them and crudely told them to stop spaming my phone.
coincidently enough I stopped receiving duplicates 5 minutes later.

I thought i got a spam text this morning. Woke me up at 5am. It was just my bro sending me a picture of himself in the field i guess they are doing some training again.

Last month they wouldn't let his unit leave until they could clear an entire 6 story building without one soldier getting shot by the bad guys.

You'll probably get charged for the messages.
Did you guys do any of that american idol voting or anything where you were messaging some system? Thats how they most likely got your number.
