the cobra definately feels faster....i even had a vert...

but for some reason, the c6 feels like its floating..it's so damn light...

for me, i could have modded the hell out of the cobra.... but i've grown out of the straight line power and wanted overall performance...

Hell yeah your part of the cafords family. You probably have more experience with fords then I do yet I love them all the same. My Mach 1 is the second Mustang I've owned. Your vette is beautiful and most likely could peel the paint off my car. That's quite understandable about the price but I'm gonna take a guess and you forked over around 50-60k for that car. Maybe less.

Yeah very nice. My buddy at work just picked up a black one with nav, dvd fully loaded from Gilroy Chevrolet. It had 9k miles on it, but they gave it to him for $42k OUT THE DOOR. Pretty damn cheap.

I was driving it on friday and I know what you mean by it feels like it's floating. The only thing I didn't like about it was the blind spots in that car. You can't see shit other then the hood. But still an awesome car...congrats!

Is this the chevy lovers site I accidently stumbled on to? I would much rather have the car you sold and do some more mods to it. Cobras are bad ass cars. I guess I hang out with to many hardcore Ford nuts, we always laugh every time we smoke a new vette.

you have to remember I am old now when I started hating Chevy's there were no imports even worthy of hating. So vette / honda don't make any difference to me.LOL I would have been better with it if he had bought a Viper.

Did you get the Z51 pakage?....I love the new C6, I sat in the silver C6 ZO6 at Crown the other day....Beautiful fuckin car...I was suprised at actually how quite the ZO6 was...I never new about the exhuast tip secondaries...Pretty cool...Anyway, $100k with a $30k mark up is too rich for my blood by far!....

but when i see the interior of my vette, i forget about everything...


but yeah, i didn't get the z51 package... i just wanted a standard one because all the vette owners said it's pretty much a waste...cause it's not that much faster or better.... if anything it's the driver mod between the z51 and the non-z51...

ps. you know what's funny.. everytime i go online now.. i still go to.. CAFords, then SVTPerformance, then Mustangworld, THEN Corvette Forums hahahaha...i told you i'm a true FORD at heart...

i wanted a car i didn't have to modify... i had everything for my 03 cobra ready to go...ported eaton, smaller pulley...sct2 xcalibrator.... etc.. i was about to put it on.. that would put me over 500/500... BUT, i got tired of spending a lot of time on Modding cars... i love to mod, but where i'm at in my life..working 2 jobs ... i have no time to Mod my cobra... i wanted a car that was different, still badass, but something i couldn't really mod up...something that was good to go... and i couldn't pass up the GMS deal they gave me...

so yeah..to you haters, it's all good... i never understood why people HATE so much..to each his own...

I can see how the magnetic ride control is a waste, but the Z51 pakage is nice...The Z51 has stiffer springs, swaybars, oil and trans coolers, larger brakes and some other shit...

Still, any Corvette would be nice for me...
