Dana you should realize that you and I are the only ones that like jeeps in this place. Yah that was a cool vid. Those look like 44 inch boggers, monsters! Anyway, you should have seen an H2 try and follow me through Tank Trap in Hollister. A $50k Hummer turned into an worthless pile of junk. It was totalled. It got stuck and had to be towed/winched out after breaking axles and completely destroying the body. I sure as hell wasn't going to tow/winch him out. LOL!

The thing is yeah they suck at rock crawling things. But an Army Issue hummer can be just about sunk to the roof in water and take some big ass bumps and rocky ass roads at like 50MPH like nothing. They are tuff as nails. Not the H2's though. My GF dad has a H2 truck. I mean its nice to drive around quite and smooth riding, but thats about it.

I like the first one because of the ending that truck jumping the crushed car is badass!

The guy in the Hummer had no clue on how to drive. I could have made that in my Yukon. Dana is your jeep ready for some action. We should get a few people together and run some of the trails up by you.

I am ready i am going to install my dual stick conversion today and maybe rewire my check engine light since when i touch hte wires it turns on? No idea what thats about, might be the cause of why my Jeep runs funny sometimes though.

Theres a trail my friend told me about near Donnieville. it takes you to an old abandon forestry lookout tower and one the way you pass 5 different lakes. You have to hike up to the lookout tower and its around 9,000 feet or something and as snow year round. I am going to do that this summer or in the next couple of weeks.

Bestop makes a hard top too. you can check out that and other brands at www.quadratec.com also look around on ebay or craigslist and you might find a better deal. new hard tops are very expensive and you can usually find a decent used one for a lot cheaper, especially since summer is comming [patriot]

I just finished installing my dual shifter for my D300. It was a kit and i still had to bend the shit out of them to get them to fit past my F250 NP435.
The dual shifter gives me an extra gear, low 2wd. I think i can also run it as a FWD only too.

Yup I have a 94 YJ, 33s, rear locker, 3" lift. I have rock sliders and TJ flares that I'm putting on it right now. In May I'm putting on 35s,
4 1/2" RE lift, 1" BL and A bunch of other odds and ends to make that all work correctly are going on. Getting it ready for the Rubicon in June.

What did you get? Let's plan on getting some runs setup. There's a few people on here that have rigs.

I'll be ready in about a week or two. I have been working on it fixing small things and getting it registered/smogged. I am new to jeepin so I will be taking baby steps [patriot]

SWEEET! Sounds bad ass man! That would be cool to have all the jeeps- 4 wheelers out. I plan on going to the rubicon sometime in may. I will probably come in thru the back trails thru McKinstry lake and get used to my jeep. Its going to take me a while to get used to a short weelbased rig. [patriot]

i did this conversion last year in the cj5. as far as i recall, it would not allow the front to engage on its own. however you did gain the rear 2wd low, which was great if you had a full time front locker installed. is yours allowing you into front low only?
i do have a clocking ring available for your set up. gives you approx 3" increased clearance...

I got the problem fixed, it was only semi going into gear.
