My stepbrother has a 67 Mustang with a inline 6 in it. The engine has been rebuilt and it is very clean. Only issue that I know of is a problem with the blinker wiring. Parents bought it for him 6 months ago and now he is getting his license and would like a 94+ bodystyle. He does not even car if it a V6 or not. They paid 6K for the car. How much do you think they can get or should we try and trade for a 94+ V6 or V8. I have no idea on value of older Mustangs. They have driven it 2 times from L.A. to Napa.

Thats what I told him. The good thing is that he is open to anything 94+ V6 or V8 and hardtop or vert. So if anyone knows anyone who want to trade let me know.

It's worth 6k IMO. He could get a nice v8 in that body style he likes. Tell him not to settle that car is a gem. I honestly would keep it. I wish I had not sold my 67 last year.

I just read yours again and you are talking about your car being faster. We can race for pink slips (unless you still owe on yours)......the good thing is if I loose(which it could not happen) I have a replacement cobra.

oh, I am down but why at Sears point??? Wht not Sacramento?? Your 100 dollars wont pay for my gas. It would have to be the weekend for me cause my job is not internet bingo..I mean poker... and the car is getting finished up in Fairfield right now. On another note I linked this thread to a bunch of other sites so I can try and trade his car for him. I am going to start a new hiddnos-less thread that can stay on topic.

What is so bad about AOD'S? I have a 306 with an AOD that is ready for Your stroked 5 speed. I will be at Sacramento raceway on Saturday if You care to back up Your talk with Your 5 speed.

when it comes to the classics (assuming you are not dealing with some number matching car), body is numero uno!

The interior looks good. If it has a clean title and the body is straight, that car can fetch $6K independent of what motor it has.

If it has bondo, accident, etc... all bets are off.

yea i think $6k was a bit high for that car. Has a lot of overspray too, so I'm assuming th apint isnt the best of quality. Since he probbaly wont get his money back for it, I say just keep it. It'll be a really cool daily driver for a 16 year old! After a little time, he can drop the V8 in and love the car even more

exactly, and he'll have a unique mustang, not just another 5.0 or sn95 on the road. don't get me wrong, i miss my droptop everyday, but when i'm driving the 67, it's just so cool
