I hadn't seen the picture and I read it as: 20s and custom paint on an 86. And I never understand why people bad mouth something that someone else has and is proud of. "I'm not trying to be mean, but I think what you like is really ugly." (Thanks, and why did we need to know that.) You are going to get a lot of that on your 20" 4lug wheels, on here, so be prepared.

I didn't "said" that you said that my friend. Sometimes it's better to keep those rolling eyes to yourself. And I'm pretty sure that you made it clear that you don't care if you offend fellow members, so don't worry you got your point across. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there are better less "fuck up" ways of saying things.

Looks cool, but we need better pics, it looks like your 20s are chromed and the paint on your mustang is reflecting in the rims. They don't look painted to me.

they are chrome but i think just the very center of each spoke is painted so the lips are still chrome.

I dig it....but you are not the first to do that. I actually did that to some 17's a few years back on my black hatch I used to have. But it does look hella clean when done right. And please say you to it to a shop to do it, or you did it the right way with the right prep.

A friend of mine tried to copy me, but did his own, and it came out cool but only lasted like 2 mos before it started chippin (took off some chrome too).

saw your car today on thorton at 4:45, i was getting on the on ramp 880-S and noticed it and while on the onramp turned to get a another look and say that it had those rims. looks nice just not my cup of tea. imo it will look better with some 17's or 18's, 20's look to big. car sounds nice though.

not bad...i wanted to do something similar when I had my 96. I think it'd look better a little better if you painted the whole spoke and not just the centers [patriot]

it just doesnt look right i dont like cobras and i think since they are a five spoke wheel they deserve to look symetrical with five lug pattern not four.
