I put $30 down on the steelers (not much, I know). Anyhow I win! So I go to retrive my money from the site which I used two playoffs ago (smoothly). Their rules and regulations have changed now. When you use a credit card they need to secure it. The way they secure it, is by you faxing over your credit card and driver license to them by fax. WTF? How the hell can you secure a card like that? I can easily make fake documents when sending through the fax. Cutting and pasting and then recopying on the copy machine. In the end I just said *uck it and just give my original bet back and take my winnings. I REFUSE to fax over my credit card and DL to aruba or wherever the hell their located www.Sportbook.com. [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] I just lost money I deserved. Oh well!

Any other websites for future bettings on football or whatever that I will not have to go through like this?

Sportsbook.com is a big organization. You have nothing to worry about in general, they are regulated etc.

Your call, but it's your loss and their win as is!

I know a few guys that use sportsfanatic.com (not sure of the exact spelling. They've been pretty happy with it for the most part I think. I've never used it myself though.

I hear ya! But they wanted this:

"1) A photocopy of your driver's license, government issued identity card, or passport
2) A photocopy of the front and back of your credit card(s)
3) A copy of a utility bill with your name and current address if the address in your account does not match the address on your identification.
4) Attached Disclaimer signed
"

That's way too much information to be faxing to some unknown place to me. Oh well I lost 23 bucks. Now I just want to find a service that doesn't make you send in personal information if you win.
