Has anyone on here attepted to build a Eleanor Clone. I have been thinking about buying a body kit and doing up a convertible. Also any good body shops to mold on the body pieces and paint? The kits look pretty straight forward with bolt on hood, trunk lid, upper & lower nose. You just need to bond the scoops, quarter corners, flares and exhaust rockers. I'm just thinking about it for a fun driver.

Have you used them or how do you know their work?

I'm not interested in the full thing either, I like the nose pieces, side scoops, tail lights and trunklid.

Called and talked to Bill today. I'm just trying to feel the waters before I go ordering parts. He couldn't recommend a Body shop for me.

I'm not necessarily looking to recreate a show quality full on clone. I have a car in my sights, was thinking about getting it and having it body kited/painted like a GT500E. I just want a clean driver convertible to give to my wife. Mild small block, A/T, 17x8/17x9 Eleanor wheels. Not looking to build a show stopper, just a clean fun car for her to drive.
