that was pretty weak locking the last thread. If someone has the nerve to call another persons job and try to get them fired we should be able to talk about it here. That perrson should be banned from this site. talking on the net is one thing, messing with someones lively hood is another. Who knows, maybe that person has this site on his pallet also! Be fair, if you are going to protect one person, than all should be protected.

Without saying too much, or standing up for either side of it, even comemnts on here can do damage to ones person or business. So making sly comments about how someone uses their company is not needed either. If you have problems with a person and/or company keep it private. If it goes beyond something you can deal with on PM, just drop it. You are "Supposed" to be adults. Grow up! [Embarrassed]

This is absolutely rediculous....

I tried to reply to the last thread but it got locked. I NEVER tried to get Evan fired. In fact, you can ask Rob himself... Instead of just taking his word for it give Rob a call.. I NEVER ASKED HIM TO FIRE EVAN.. PERIOD!

I do know what the hell I am talking about, you are pushing a topic with the intent to bash the man. Let him have his fare share at defending his actions. If something did happen between them, it should be between them and delt with like adults. If "he" said something to bash Evan then, Evan can deal with it. Evan is a big boy too right?

You have no idea what we spoke about.. I spoke to Rob at length about various issues about our business and the performance industry and most of time Evan was not in the equation. Again, I will state it again and Rob will back me up on this.. I DID NOT TELL ROB TO FIRE EVAN!

OK, I am done with this issue...

IF anyone cares to know the facts call Rob at Rob's Machine Shop. It is obviously useless to post in this thread since no one really cares to find out the truth and is only willing to take the word of one member at face value.

I have been writing for them for the last 4 issues. You can call Mike Calamusa (Owner), Scott Ross (Editor in Chief), and Bill Moore (Editor) to confirm I write for them

I believe there has been a misunderstanding... I have sent Evan a PM with my cellphone number this morning and even tried to contact him at his work. He was not available at the time I called so I left a message with Rob. I would like to resolve this as soon as possible. Again, I did not attempt OR ask Rob to fire Evan. There has been a misundertanding and I would like to clarify it with Evan himself. I apologize to everyone including the moderators and owners of Cafords for this mess. We can resolve this matter but only if Evan gives me a call.

No details. After reading 3 posts on the topic this is what I got. As any employer would atest, the employee is an extension of the business. If you tell everyone that you work at "x" and then you start going off and being rude to another business. You get what you deserve. I understand that sometimes you get get bad service or whatever, but you have to take care of it like a man. Don't whine and moan about it. If you must post about it. Keep it to the point and keep to the facts. Then call it done. As soon as you become an ass you make your employer look like an ass. I am guessing Evan working in a machine shop that does work on car parts??? Then to to go overboard on a business that can hurt your business is not the right thing to do. Use you r brains people. I am not saying that calling someones business and trying to get them fired is right but nobody here knows for sure if that is the case. Unless you talked to the person who took the time to write Evan up... leave it alone.. Not your business to be jabbering about.

Most people would agree with your views, but you forget that this Apex guy here gives everyone the dishonest used car salesmen creeps. It was the slight of hand and secret behind the back phone calls that pissed people off. Taking care of it like a man doesn't envolve leveraging someone by a phone call to their boss.
