Ok I know I may ask alot of dumn questions but, I need help installing a Cobra insert. I got it from a friend and he lost the instructions and I wanted to know what would be the best gears for a auto foxbody (3.73, 4.10 ) really don't know I am starting to fix this stang up a little. So i'm not really sure what to put in it.

I like 3.73's you dont really need anything higher than that if your going to do a lot of street driving.

I have 373 in My auto and they have been a good all around gear from basically stock to HCI & charged. If You aer'nt planning on adding a power adder down the line 4:10's might be a good choice.

PERSONALLY FOR AN AUTO- IF YOU REALLY WANT IT TO PULL HARD AND STEADY IT WILL BE BEST TO GO WITH 4:10 GEARS- EVERY FOXBODY AUTO THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED HAS HAD THEM- GO FOR THE 4:10 BRO- [patriot]

I was told that 4.10 gears was the best to go with by friends but they also said that if I was planning on driving along ways that it would burn my trans or rear end up !!!!! [Confused]
