THEY SAID ITS BEEN TWO DECADES SINCE THE HEARTBEAT HAS BEEN ABLE TO BEAT THE BIG BLUE OVAL IN SALES CAUSE OF THE DAMN TRAILBLAZER SOLD MORE THAN THE EXPLORER WE HAD A GOOD RUN AND I THINK THAT WE WILL BE BACK ON TOP AGAIN AFTER THIS YEARS SALES

you are very right i know several poeple that went out and bought cars at the price they should have been able to nego with the sales guy/women in the first place

sales only show part of the financial picture, remember that gm is the automaker teetering on the brink of bankruptcy.

GM sold most of thier vehicles under the same plan as thier employee's would get just to try to get incintive for people to buy thier product. If GM didn't do what they did at the time they did they'd probably be owned by Toyota by now. Same thing happened to Chrysler a while back then Daimler bought it and turned it around.

true! there are no more independant Chevy dealerships anymore..Chevy took them all up...One of the largest and oldest ones in the area has been closed and has weeds growing in its lot now. The one in Fremont is on the brink of disapearing too... When dealerships are taking $10K below sticker and offering 0% for 6 years...you know somehting isn't right. Chevy isn't the only ones out there giving cars away...everyone is.
